BUILD WITH INFERMAX
Authentication
Understand public documentation, project credentials, and the permissions that govern each request.
Use a Bearer key
Authorization: Bearer <your-project-key>Every operation in this public reference requires a Bearer key. The backend derives or verifies scope from the authenticated principal; changing a resource ID does not grant access to another project.
Console login manages your identity, memberships, and project selection. It does not place a key into this documentation or enable an API playground.
Choose the right permission
| Workflow | Required access |
|---|---|
| Model discovery, model health, Chat Completions | Project inference key with inference:use |
| Project consumption report | Scoped inference key with telemetry:read, or an authorized project management credential |
| Compute management and other management reads | Authorized project management credential; an inference-only key is insufficient |
The Console controls key issuance according to your workspace role and project grants. Some management operations are not available to ordinary inference credentials.
Keep credentials out of public clients
Call inference from your server or a trusted local client. Store keys in a secret manager or protected environment. Rotate or revoke compromised keys through Console. Never include them in page URLs, analytics, error reports, or prompts.
No credential entry or storage is provided on this site.
